Baylor vs. Houston Betting Lines

SpreadMoneylineTotal
Houston+5 (-106)+180Over 134.5 (-106)
Baylor-5 (-116)-215Under 134.5 (-116)

Odds from FanDuel Sportsbook as of April 1, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. ET.

Baylor was the No. 1 seed in the South Region and has won each of its four games by at least nine points, cruising through Hartford (79-55), Wisconsin (76-63), Villanova (62-51), and Arkansas (81-72). Baylor has been aggressive on both ends of the court, with the team’s defense really shining for the Bears.

Houston comes out of the Midwest Region as the No. 2 seed, beating Cleveland St. (87-56), Rutgers (63-60), Syracuse (62-46), and Oregon St. (67-61). The big thing that sticks out from Houston’s run is the team’s offensive rebounding. The team grabs offensive boards like many teams grab rebounds on the defensive end, and Houston has hauled in 62 offensive boards in its four tournament games, compared to 27 from its opponents. In fact, Houston’s four opponents so far have tallied 86 defensive rebounds. That means nearly 42% of the time Houston is grabbing the rebound on the offensive end.

Gonzaga vs. UCLA Betting Lines

SpreadMoneylineTotal
UCLA+14 (-106)+700Over 145.5 (-110)
Gonzaga-14 (-116)-1100Under 145.5 (-110)

Odds from FanDuel Sportsbook as of March 31, 2021, at 12:30 a.m. ET.

Gonzaga was the No. 1 overall seed entering the tournament, and the Bulldogs have done nothing but show the country that they are the best team and deserving of being such heavy betting favorites both overall and in every game. Gonzaga has won its four tournament games by 43 over Norfolk St., 16 over Oklahoma, 18 over Creighton, and 19 over USC. That’s an average winning margin of 24 points. At first glance, one might think it’s a bit wild to see Gonzaga favored by 14 points over UCLA in the Final Four, but this Gonzaga is absolutely rolling through its competition.

Of the four teams left in the tournament, UCLA is the only one to have played five games to get to this point. That’s because UCLA had to square off with Michigan St. in the First Four set of games. UCLA won that one 86-80 in overtime. After that, UCLA beat BYU, Abilene Christian, Alabama, and Michigan, with Alabama and Michigan being the No. 2 and No. 1 seeds in the East Region, respectively.
