The MLB World Series betting odds have flipped. Entering the 2019 World Series, the Houston Astros were the favorites across the board. Now that the Washington Nationals have won the first two games of the series, both of which were in Houston, it’s the Nationals as the World Series betting favorites.

Checking in on the series prices on Thursday morning, we find the Nationals are -260 at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook, -275 at DraftKings Sportsbook in New Jersey, and -280 at FanDuel Sportsbook in New Jersey. Those are quite the changes in odds from when the Astros were -220 at Westgate, -235 at DraftKings, and -240 at FanDuel heading into the series.

With two games in the books, both taking place in Houston, the series now shifts to Washington for the next three games. Many say that home-field advantage is a myth in baseball, but it’s hard to ignore the fact that Washington is up 2-0 in the series and gets to play the next three back home at Nationals Park.

The World Series betting odds have also very much adjusted for how long this series will play out. Gone are the odds for the Astros to win in four or five games because they’ve gone down 2-0 in the series.

Entering the series, the Astros were +700 at Westgate, +750 at DraftKings, and +800 at FanDuel to sweep the Nationals in four games. At the same time, Houston was +400 at Westgate, +440 at DraftKings, and +390 at FanDuel to win the World Series in five games.

The favorites for how long the series will end are now the Nationals winning in four or five games, as you can see below. Do note that at time of writing, FanDuel did not have updated prices available for exact outcome of the series.
